Plaid Night at Capt Tony's

A quiet morning.

The daytime costumes.

On our way to the Gallery, we pose with the statues in front
of the Old Customs House on Front Street.

Where'd that lady find the oil can of Fosters?

A pup poses with the girls.

We've arrive at Wylands, and meet David Wight,
famous glass artist.

David poses with some of his work.

On up Duval Street to Sloppy Joe's

We make our way up Duval to Wyland's other Gallery

...and connect with our friend Steven Muldoon from Marco Island, now a famous
Wyland artist.

Heading back down Duval, we pass the
historic Strand Theater, now a Walgreens.
Is nothing sacred?

Well, there is the old church, I guess.  It's still a church, for now.
This is actually the third one on this site.  The other two burned or fell down.
Susie decides to get painted for the evening.

While she's getting painted Cindy and I head over to the Lazy Gecko.
Seems we have some very old 2-4-1 drink cards, which of course they honored.
We meet some new friends, who recognize me as the Maddog, and we chat about the website.

Back to see the finishing touches on Susie's paint job.

We stroll past the Bull.  Folks are lined up, people watching, and being watched.

We need a break, so we duck into the Smokin' Tuna, where of course,
they are glad to take our 2-4-1 coupons at the bar.

Back on the street.

Back to our Condo in the Foundry for some dinner
and a change of costumes for Plaid Night.

Off to the Gallery again...

We head back up Duval toward Capt Tony's and the Party in Plaid.

Wednesday is already here...It's time for some sleep.
